Sometimes you just gotta wait...and waitt

First off I would like to say that I was completely fooled by the words "Car Shopping" thinking that it would fun. I never ever ever want to do it again! Car shopping is like a bad relationship. Right when I think I found a good one, looks good, price is good, everything about it seems perfect, it lets me down and doesn't work out. Constant rollercoaster! This happened over and over again these past few months and I have literally waited up until the last minute for the right one to come.  I am leaving to go back to school this weekend and have planned on my car that I didnt know if I would have to get me back to school, and drive me to and from the jobs I will be working.  Right when I start reconsidering my options, thinking about now flying back to school, and quitting both my jobs, the absolute perfect car came into play  just days before I need to leave,  thanks to an amazing person who has helped me out so much. I think the lesson I was supposed to learn for this year is it's always on the Lord's timing, never my own.

Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas from the Wilson Girls

We had SO MUCH FUN spending Christmas together! I love being together with all 3 of my sisters. On Christmas Eve we all went with Hayley to pick up her new car, I wish I could have captured on video her reaction as she ran/danced her way to the front seat and pulled away in her car. There was a lot of dancing and fist pumping on that drive home :) We spent the rest of the day hanging out, eating, doing nails, and eating some more.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

My mouth has been sealed

For the next 24 hours I am not able to use my voice! Sounds ridiculous I know, but my ASB advisor  put us to the test to give up something we use everyday for 24 hours. The first thing that popped into my head was my speech, something that everyone uses. It has definitely been a challenge so far, and I am pretty sure this will be the longest day of my life!

Friday Night....And that's all there is to mine!

8 things I do When I spend my Friday nights, off work, ALL ALONE!!!! :(    (-this is a sad, i'm feeling sorry for myself so i'm gonna write about it face)

1. Pace back in forth in the kitchen from refrigerator, to pantry, refrigerator, to pantry, and hope that something new will pop out and look good to eat every time I go back to it.

2. Turn off every single thing that makes noise in the house, even the tv, so its dead silent and I  can hear if anyone is trying to break into my house at anytime so I'll be prepared and armed...(We've had this happen before and oh you bet I was ready...ask Alyssa...no one ever better break into this house..it may involve some sort of dagger...Dad and McKenna may want to think twice next time they play a trick on me)

3. Facebook and Blog stalk.  Why not? I love seeing that everyone else is out doing something FUN and having a FUN friday, and having FUN......

4. Text all 3 of my older siblings to see what they are doing...and this is how the conversation went with Alyssa tonight:
Alyssa: Are you doing anything fun tonight?
Hayley: Laying on the couch cuddled up in a blanket with myself. What about you?
Alyssa: Same with me, but in my bed.
hahah...and then it proceeds to calling each other so we can at least be bored together!

5. Go over all the things in my head a million and one times of what I need to do at work tomorrow...Since I basically live there, I can't get my mind to clock out of work when I clock out!! I hate it!!

6. Lip sync to demi lavato and wicked soundtrack...(McKenna told me she thought it was called "lip sing"..my sisters are so blonde

7. Paint my nails. Then repaint my nails.  And then one more time repaint my nails.

8.  And lastly...create the life I will probably never have on pinterest.

Does anyone else out there have nights like these??? What do you do on your Friday nights when your all alone? I'm curious and could use some new ideas for my next one

Thanks Mommmaa!

So I thought its about time to give a lil' credit to the lady behind the camera this whole time! (look at her, she's such a model herself! )  This is my gorgeous mom, Melanie and she has such a talented eye for great photography. She uses a Nikon D700 but it's defiantly not just the camera that makes a picture look good, its the person behind it. My sisters and I are always overly willing to be her models any chance we can get. literally. Sooo thanks to her, we have some great quality pictures to post for our blog! If you're ever needing a photographer...let us know and we'll pass the word on to her :)

December is here!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, we finally brought out our Christmas decorations and most importantly the MUSIC! I swear I could repeat the Nsync Holiday CD over and over again and not get sick of it. If you haven't listened to it, you must find time in your busy schedules to make it a priority! I couldn't be happier with all these 65 degree days yet it's been sad to see the fall leaves diminish as winter gets closer. Thanks to my mom we have been driving around town hitting all the hot spots for pictures, before the trees completely shed their leaves.

Recreation of theDIY: THE CAP TOE

The other day I was blog stalking and came across my new favorite blog of the week called "Becuase I'm Addicted" I found the most AMAZING DIY for shoes and immediatly whipped out a pair of some black heels I was about to throw away cause I've had them forever, and experimented. All it takes is a little acrylic paint, brush, and ducktape... This is what went down...

And here's my recreation...

and voila! (don't look at my sock marks on my ankle)

Nails 101

If you haven't noticed I am in love with Nail Polish! It's a recent addiction I have been suffering from. Ever since I bought my first OPI nail polish I have been in love. I go back and forth between OPI and Essie. I love the size of the brush and the colors from Essie, but OPI has a larger variety of colors. Both are fantastic. I told my husband the other day that I bought a new nail polish, and in the most sincere voice he says "Oh no! Did you run out?" At first I thought he was being serious, but if you also know Chad you know he was teasing me. He realizes I have an obsession, and is also an enabler. Sometimes he even surprises me with new colors!

I found this link via Pinterest that I thought I would share with you all. It is a great little guide on how to apply nail polish properly. I hope you find this as helpful as I did.

I put this to the test, see the result here.
