Home sweet home

In the midst of moving, school, and work, there is always room to make time to come home for a week to visit the family.  I'm so glad I was able to come down for a spontaneous trip to see the people I love and even though its only a short week..its totally worth it.  I have the most amazing family ever!! Monday I start classes again at a whole new school, new state, and all new people.  It's a huge change for me and something I never had planned in the picture.  But I realized that there are just some things we've got to do in life that are out of our comfort zone if we want to acheive those dreams and goals we have always wanted. I'm so excited for this new adventure, being close to so much extended family now, new friends and hopefully on the path for me finally becoming a nurse!!

Time Well Spent

1)Easter and the loads of chocolates(particularly the bordeaus) that occupied my whole week, time and time again convincing me to have just 'one' more.

2) Spring Shopping finally came around! I blame my indecisive genes for our three hour trip at the mall that my poor mom had to deal with.

3) Hunger Games showing, which I must say was AMAZING! Came home that night and siked myself to read Catching Fire...within 24 hours.

4) Finally did something with my naked walls that have been staring at me for the past few weeks, and couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

5) Made a visit to the Paris Train Station and took my first train ride, that I can remember.

 6) Went to Diamond Valley Lake with a beautiful view you don't see everyday. Hiking and I started on the wrong foot, but after the third time I tripped...well lets just say we are still working on it.

LACK LASHES?? TRY "LI LASH"!!

I have been horrible at keeping up on blogging (sorry to my sisters!!) but I am going to try and start doing better....
The day I turned twelve I was so excited to wear mascara so that I could have long voluptuous eye lashes like my sisters.... only to find out that no matter how much mascara i put on, my eyelashes were still short and thin and nothing would do the trick! about 3 months ago my aunt and I discovered this new serum called "Li Lash" that we heard would help our eyelashes to grow. It's like a clear liquid eyeliner i put on once a day and I think it just might have solved my problem! (It's a lot cheeper if you have someone that's liscensed buy it for you).

SOO... for any of you that lack lashes... i definitely recommend this stuff!! It works within a few weeks and you can buy a tube that lasts either 4-6 months or 1 year..

Very sorry we haven't had any recent posts, time has definitely gotten away from us. Enjoying the little things really do bring happiness: watching the sun set on long drives home, snuggling in bed with hot chocolate on rainy days, thrift shopping, taking my daily-needed naps, and coming home to sweets galore.Hoping this spring break consists of swimsuit weather and sunburns that will become a perfect golden tan, and possibly Alyssa and Hayley surprising their little sister by coming home.

Be my Valentine?

Yes I did see The Vow on Valentines Day just like everyone else and their date...am I right?  And I don't care what ANY ONE else says but this movie is SOOOOOOOOO GOOOODD!!! I am already wanting so go see it again and again and I may just give in and do it. Channing is one hunk that's for sure and does such an amazing job at playing Leo in this movie.  Its even better cause its based on a true story and what the husband went through will just pull at those heart strings...

Nutella Obsession

Skyping with Hayley turned into a war on who has more Nutella. Unfortunatly Hay won with four COSTCO sized containers, while I had three (but in my deffence they weren't all hers). Now if you don't know what Nutella is, which you all should, it is the most amazing chocolately goodness that can instantly bring happiness to anyone. As you can see, we load way to much of this stuff in our pantry and into our system. I wouldn't say that it is the best thing for you, but I always say, "The more calories, the better it tastes."

Good morning officer

It's 8 o'clock and my day is already set off to be a bad one based on the series of unfortunate events happening. not only do i seriously hate every tuesday, thursday and saturday because i have to wake up at 4:30 am to go to work, but this morning I get pulled over by Rexburg police to top it off. I'm not even awake yet cause its hello 5 am, its like 0 degrees outside, and I'm already late for work officer!!!!  So I roll down my window and Mr. Power Trip walks on over to inform me that i rolled not one but TWO stop signs, and was speeding (which means going 30 instead of 25) speeding. I just play dumb but its early so i'm not fighten it too hard.  All I gotta say is thankyou to my california drivers license which explains maybe the reason i drive the way i do.  Power Trip comes back over to me saying 1. Save that kind of driving for California. 2. The California Roll doesn't work in Idaho. and 3. learn how to drive in the snow.  This is the 2nd time I've ever been pulled over, ever, and my sad little puppy face has done its job each time getting me out of it..YESSS!
Next thing....I'm sitting behind in the cage in the girl's locker room where i'm supposed to check out clothes to the people that come in.  But oops, I fell asleep for who knows how long and wake up to a group of girls just standing there staring at me in silence. Great. well that was awkward.  Good thing my bosses are men and cant catch me in these moments that hardly ever happen!(Sarcastic tone).
Anyways, I hope that I can make time and blog some more! Going to school full time, working two jobs, homework, studying and playing does not leave me with much time at the end of the day but i do love the feeling of being busy!

Essie's newest Crew

Essie just announced their new spring colors and I am pretty excited! I love the muted pastel colors combined with the bright orange, pink and red. My favorite thing about nail polish is the creative names. How cool would it be if that were your job? If anyone reading this has that job, hook a sister up. Its Hard Saying Goodbye

Sisters have all left and it just me at home. Alyssa and Hayley returning to Utah and Idaho, Whitney going to the Bahamas for vacation (completely jealous), and then there is me.  Seeing Alyssa and Hayley leaving was the hardest goodbye. One: it's there last time being home for a long period of time. Two: I had a New Years Dance I was going to and had to hold back the tears so I wouldn't smear my make-up (which was impossible to do). I love them soo much and even though I wish we could all be together, I couldn't be happier with what they are doing with their lives. Love you girls so much and looking forward to the next time we see each other.
